BAPTISM

Going Public With Your Faith

We are so excited that you are following the example of Jesus Christ and obeying the Scriptures to be baptized!

Baptism is a very public confession that you have committed your life to God and that you are now a born again believer. It represents the death of your old sinful life and the resurrection of your new life in Christ Jesus!

We want this experience to be as memorable and stress-free as possible, so here is some useful information.

What To Expect

When you arrive between 10:30 – 10:40am you will need to make your way to the Family Life Center where you will change into your baptism robe.
(Not sure where to go? No worries, just ask a greeter and they will be happy to walk you over)

Pastor Del will greet you and explain a few important details of the baptism as well as share with you the exciting things you can expect to happen in your life.
At the beginning of the 11am service, Pastor Del will lead you to the sanctuary.

Pastor will address the congregation explaining the importance of what is about to take place. One by one Pastor will call for you to be baptized.
(We will have an usher there to help keep everything running smoothly, so no need to worry about remembering a bunch of stuff.)

Please feel free to have your family come to the front and take pictures/video when it is your turn.
We will also have a photographer to capture this special moment.

After you have been baptized, you can make your way back to the FLC to change into your dry clothes.

TIP: We’ve found that many people like to attend the 9am service with their family and then go celebrate following the baptism ceremony.
Following your baptism, you will receive a certificate with a picture of this special event.

What To Bring

Shorts and a T-shirt to wear under your robe (we’ll supply the robe and the towel).
